Whether liquid, solid or gas, water is all around us. In the rivers that flow through our cities and irrigate our fields, in the groundwater that feeds our taps, in the glaciers that feed the rivers, or in the clouds that water the earth and replenish the groundwater. Its uninterrupted cycle has cradled life on Earth for thousands of years. A presence so obvious that should not make us forget its deep fragility.
