The different uses of time

To each his own

Watch - bracelet

Time is not perceived equally by all humans. In contrast to Newton's and Kant's ideas of absolute time, Einstein came up with the idea that it was relative to the speed of the observers' reference systems. Experiments have shown, for example, that a clock marks time differently on land than in a jet. The question of this perception of time is all the more present today when many feel they are running out of time.

A German blogger decided to see the different approaches in relation to time management. So he talks to a model with a very busy schedule, a shepherd who has to adapt to the rhythms of nature and his animals, a free diver who observed the time differences in the water and a singer of "schlager", a very popular style of music in Germany, with his "Stop Time" parties.

Everyone perceives their relationship to time and its effects on them differently. In a world where everything is fast-paced and becoming obsolete, it might be a good idea to remember the importance of moments of boredom and contemplation.
