Can Catholicism reinvent itself?

Little optimism for the Roman institution

Catholicism has been a religion that has left a profound mark on the world whether in history, in architecture, or in art. Yet in recent years, the institution, more than the faith itself, has been severely shaken. The pedophilia scandals and their systemic side have made even believers very uncomfortable.
