Although it's fashionable to denigrate Internet users who live online, there's no denying that this mass of people connected from all over the world helps to forge links. Entire communities have been established around common interests, with all their downsides and upsides. Film fans are already familiar with Letterboxd, which gives them the opportunity to discover films, read reviews, share them and make lists of works to watch.
Share and review music
Musicboard is its own musical version. Once registered, users will choose their favorite music styles and then be able to start putting five-star ratings on any album, song or artist. They'll be able to read all members' written reviews (if they've posted them in public), follow some of them and share their opinions with others. Users can also add albums, songs and more to lists to keep track of their favorite hip-hop or rock albums, or set reminders to discover new music or artists.
The free version offers almost everything. The paid version gives early access to the platform's new features, personalized banners and the ability to write reviews of unlimited length. Features that will appeal to the most avid users of the social network, but totally dispensable for others. The application seems to be available in English only, although this doesn't prevent you from writing reviews in others languages, especially as everything on Spotify is on Musicboard.
