The BLAST test (Bron/Lyon Attention Stability Test) was developed at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (Inserm CNRS) to measure the ability of individuals to "stay on task", i.e. to selectively and repeatedly apply cognitive processes relevant to the task.
The original test lasts around one minute, and repeatedly measures the time taken to find a target letter in a table, with all letters updated on each new trial over thirty trials. BLAST performance correlates well with ADHD questionnaire scores.
The test suggested here is inspired by the original BLAST and provides a detailed graph of your performance.

Click on "start" and then click to the left or right of the table to indicate your answer.
