No need to say what you think, I'll know.
"The realization of this new way of understanding and visualizing cognition offers a major opportunity: that of being able to guess, from an image of the brain, the cerebral activity at play."

Everyone is different, but everyone has a heart, intestines, respiratory system, bones, muscles and so on. How these systems work, we're beginning to know, but how they work in a specific case, that remains particular to each person.
A digital health twin is a model of a person's systems, with their specific parameters. A general model is proposed and programmed with case-specific measurements and assessments.
Has he lost a lot of blood? Is he conscious? What is his blood pressure, respiratory rate, body mass index, etc.? What are the results of his CT scan? Hundreds of parameters can be modeled or deduced from millions of already known cases, enabling us to predict their evolution, estimate their condition and propose interventions.
"The SimbiotX project team works on a simplified mathematical representation of a given individual. This virtual double is parameterized on the basis of a patient's specific data, to help clinicians better understand his or her state of health and its evolution.
In cardiac medicine, for example, by applying blood flow and blood pressure measurements to a digital twin, we can assess certain parameters of the heart that would otherwise be difficult to analyze. In orthopedics, the use of a virtual double enables us to determine whether a prosthesis is well adapted to a patient. This digital twin can also be used to predict the effect of a treatment, surgery or medication. The applications are endless..."
This European digital twin is called Edith. Five initial use cases have been selected - cancer, cardiovascular disease, intensive care, osteoporosis, brain - and a call for contributions is open to propose other use cases...
