This intermediate-level B1/B2 French course, which meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is part of the dual program “Digital Learning” and “Language and Interculturality” established by Paris-Saclay University. It is designed for all students who wish to pursue higher education in France. It will not only help them achieve the required level of French proficiency to take courses in the French higher education system but will also help them adapt to their new environment as smoothly as possible.
This course offers an immersion into student life through lecture videos, texts in various formats, short film clips, and authentic videos featuring French students or international students living in France. Students will thus be able to develop all language skills (listening and reading comprehension, speaking and writing, grammar, and vocabulary). The course’s objectives are linguistic, but also cultural and practical.
Important note: This MOOC does not replace taking tests certifying B1 or B2 proficiency, such as those offered by the CIEP: TCF, DELF, or DALF.
