What is a man?
Reflecting on modern masculinity
Every cisgender man has heard this phrase once in his life: "Be a man!" An injunction coming with a panoply of clichés and behaviors. For a long time, this fit the bill as the woman was passive. But with the rise of feminism and gender equality, the traditional approach has been shattered. So, does masculinity need to reform? Or even disappear?
