The question of the relationship between robots and humans is on the agenda. The prospect of de-automation would imply a new relationship between man and robot. There would be greater sensitivity and a kind of humanization of robots, as they would no longer be purely productivity machines, but non-biological beings increasingly dependent on humans.

There is no properly identified support group for supervisors; there is high turnover and no incentive for anyone to enter the profession. There is a need for, at a minimum, basic online training and a support and referral site/group, even if only to explain the basics of the profession, responsibilities and possible recourses. The role is bound to grow; who will take on the task of enhancing it?
