People with disabilities are often seen as dependent and limited in their activities. Of course, everyone has their limitations, but that doesn't prevent them from living life to the full. In fact, in France, 72% of people over the age of 18 have a driving license, and 60% of these are wheelchair users. The big problem is that 86% of them have difficulty accessing parking lots, which limits where they can go.
The VIP (Very Important Parking) application lists over 800,000 locations in France accessible to this important population. As a result, users can easily locate available parking facilities near their destination in France. They can find out whether the spaces are private or public, and how many there are. What's more, users can comment on each location, sharing a clear point of view on the different spaces.
If other spaces are added, anywhere in France, users are invited to declare the address, its type and take a snapshot of the parking space to better inform others. The application can then be used as a GPS to navigate directly to the space, and once parked, subscribers can indicate how many minutes they intend to stay in the space, and receive a notification when they get close to the time limit they have set for themselves.
