Climate change: educational change
The current Anthropocene era confronts man with his responsibilities towards nature. Citizens are waiting for new educational leaders who consider our relationship with nature, but also for control systems that avoid career politicians focused on their short-term re-election.
Forget to learn better?
Since Bachelard, Serres and Astolfi, we know that teaching is not filling an empty box, nor replacing one knowledge with another. Old representations resist! Teaching is often a matter of bringing out what needs to be overcome, understanding what sticks in order to finally teach the knowledge and know-how useful to learners. Actions based on the concept of "epistemological obstacle" provide us with useful leads.
Finding the driving force behind the need for collaboration
Collaboration as the only possible path: that sounds like a strong injunction, but why not?
Adopt the competency-based approach
The issue of competency-based knowledge is increasingly present in higher education. Rather than asking students to be dumb copiers of the material, they must prove that they can use it. This poorly thought-out approach can do great harm.
Develop endurance to fluctuations
Does an unstable and potentially worrying environment necessarily lead to emotional fragility in individuals?
