Pedagogical watchdog & pedagogical uses of ICT

A trainer who is passionate about the pedagogical uses of ICT and the evolution of his profession, Gérald is convinced of the need for peer-to-peer exchanges as a potential for reflection on our pedagogical habits. He also believes that teaching, training, learning and research are improved when educational resources are open and accessible.

He became a trainer following a professional reconversion in 2019, and then worked in different functions on several insertion and orientation devices within structures such as GRETA and IFPA.

He also worked as a documentalist for the Institut de Formations Paramédicales des Hospices Civils de Beaune, where he accompanied the forced adaptation of the pedagogical team in place to the use of digital tools during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the same time, he developed resources and technological aids to support the success of the institute's students. Fully involved also in the Qualiopi certification process of the Institute, he has built, using digital resources, a watch that meets the requirements of the standard .

As EdTech editor at Thot Cursus, he considers digital technology and social networks as important vectors of professional development for teachers and the world of training.

In an ever-changing world, sharing is a valuable value for him.
